IR List

An ecosystem of tools for working with Impulse Responses (IRs). It started as an idea to build an IR database indexed by fingerprint, but expanded into tooling to replicate cabinet sounds — originally inspired by the cabs used by Ghost. To replicate Ghost’s sound you may need 3 different cabs 💰 or a device (or multiple) that supports multiple IRs at once: that’s where the idea of mixing IRs came from, to be used on my Nux MG-30 hardware which supports 1 IR.

• Irigen — CLI to list, process, mix, rename, and export impulse response files
• Spectra Mix — WebAssembly interface to process IRs directly in the browser
• IRindex — (not started) IR database indexed by fingerprint
• IRmoire — (not started) community service to share mix recipes (like a Grimoire)
